Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Synapse, including the website at synapseengine.ai, the desk, alerts, the API and anything else we provide under the Synapse name (together, the "Service"). Synapse is operated by NerveLabs, Inc., a Delaware corporation at 208 Forest Ave, New Rochelle, NY 10804 ("we", "us"). By using the Service or reserving a seat, you agree to these terms.
1. What Synapse is, and what it is not
Synapse publishes the output of an automated engine: calls on same-day S&P 500 index options, the reasoning behind each call, and the decisions not to trade. Every subscriber receives the same information at the same time. It is general and impersonal.
- We do not know your finances, goals or risk tolerance, and nothing we publish is tailored to you.
- We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser or fiduciary to you.
- We never hold your money, access your brokerage account, or place orders for you.
- Nothing in the Service is a recommendation that any particular person buy or sell any security.
2. Risk
Options trading involves substantial risk and is not suitable for everyone. Same-day options can lose their entire value within hours. Any backtested or hypothetical result has inherent limitations, and no result, past or hypothetical, guarantees a future one. You alone decide whether to act on anything the Service publishes, and you are responsible for the outcome. Consider speaking with a licensed professional before trading.
3. Accuracy and availability
We work to keep the Service accurate and available, but market data can be late or wrong, the engine can halt itself when an input fails a check, and alerts can be delayed in transit. We do not promise that any call, alert or stand-down reaches you in time to act on it, or at all.
4. Accounts
An account is for one person. Keep your sign-in and any API keys to yourself; you are responsible for activity under them. Tell us right away at hello@synapseengine.ai if you think someone else has access. You must be at least 18 to use the Service.
5. Your license, and what you may not do
While your access is active, we give you a personal, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own trading. You may not:
- share, resell, republish or redistribute calls, reasoning, alerts or other Service content, including to chat groups, channels or other services;
- scrape, bulk-download or systematically extract content, except through the API as documented for your plan;
- reverse engineer the Service or attempt to access parts of it you are not entitled to;
- use the Service to build a competing product, or in any unlawful way.
We may suspend or end access that breaks these rules.
6. Reservations, founding pricing and referrals
Reserving a seat is free and creates no obligation on either side. Founding pricing (50% off the monthly price for the first 12 months of a continuous subscription) goes to the first 25 subscribers through October 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern, or until we end it sooner. It is applied at checkout.
Each member gets a personal referral link.
- Someone new to Synapse who subscribes through your link gets founding pricing, whether or not founding seats remain or the founding window has closed.
- For each new subscriber who joins through your link and whose first payment clears and is not refunded or disputed within 7 days, you get a credit worth one month of your plan at the price you then pay. Credits apply to your next bills, up to 12 per calendar year. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and end with your membership. A complimentary seat earns no credit.
- No referring yourself, including through another email address or card, and no spam, misleading claims, or paid ads that bid on the Synapse name. We may withhold credits for referrals that break these rules.
- If you share your link publicly, say that you get a free month when someone joins.
- We may change or end the program at any time. Credits already earned stay on your account.
7. Subscriptions and billing
These apply to paid plans.
- Plans renew monthly until canceled. Prices are shown on the pricing page and at checkout.
- You can cancel anytime; access continues to the end of the period you paid for.
- If a plan includes a free trial, its length and terms are shown at checkout, and the subscription begins when the trial ends unless you cancel first.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are not refundable, including for partial months.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; the change applies from your next renewal after the notice period.
8. Ownership
The Service, the engine, and everything we publish through them belong to NerveLabs, Inc.. These terms give you a license to use them, not ownership of them.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $100.
11. Indemnity
You agree to cover claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) brought against us because of your breach of these terms or your misuse of the Service.
12. Ending access
You can stop using the Service anytime. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering the Service; if we end a paid subscription for reasons other than your breach, we will refund the unused part of your current period.
13. Governing law
New York law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in New York, and both sides consent to their jurisdiction.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will post it here with a new effective date and, for subscribers, email you before it takes effect. Using the Service after a change takes effect means you accept it.
